Return Policy

Policy for the General Public (DIYers)
The General Public is welcome to purchase from our site under the guidelines set forth:
We are unable to accept returns on purchases made by the general public. Due to challenges associated with buy-try-return practices, we do not accept returns at this time. However, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction. If you experience any issues with your TV, we encourage you to contact us first. Our technicians are available to assist with troubleshooting at our convenience, provided that the necessary parts are in stock.
- Exchanges for a different item wherein the buyer pays the difference, if applicable, will be permitted. Return shipping cost will be the buyer's responsibility. 
-  All shipping costs to and from the buyer are non-refundable
 
 
 Returns Policy for Certified TV Repair Centers:
 -  We will not accept returns on small electronic components like: EEPROM IC, LED Strips or Backlights, Capacitors, Fuses, Mosfet, Repair Kits, Diodes, etc.
 - If item you received is the correct one and fixes your tv problem, great ! We stand behind our product. Some items come with 30, 90 or more days of warranty. This is specified on the Warranty Information section for each item
- If your TV part fails within its allotted warranty, please email us (sales@silvershoptvparts.com) with the following information:
  • Order number
  • Original part number
  • Description of defect/symptom
We will issue you a Return Authorization Number (RMA Number) via email and walk you through the return process. Once we receive and identify our item, if available, we will send you a replacement part free of charge. If we do not have a compatible replacement part in-stock, we will refund your money: 
  Within 3 months of your order date: We will refund you in full via the payment method you used to place the order.
 After 3 months (and up to the end of the warranty period): We will refund you in full via SilverShopTvParts credit, which can be used toward future purchases in our website with no expiration.
- If you received a defective item please contact us within 10 days via email (sales@silvershoptvparts.com). We will submit RMA number for you to return item. Our technician will diagnose the returned circuit board. If problem is found we will provide a full refund, otherwise we will charge a 20% restocking fee and the initial shipping cost that you paid will not be refunded. Any modification or alteration performed on our circuit board will not be accepted - no refund will be processed in that case and the circuit board will be send it back to you at your own expenses.
You may return most new, not needed, unopened items within 7 days of delivery. We will process refund once we receive, inspect and identify our item. Also you will be charged a 20% restocking fee for any new/unused/unopened item and the initial shipping cost that you paid will not be refunded. If the item we received is damaged/destroyed, we will send it back to you again at your own expenses.

Cancellations 
Order cancellation can be requested ONLY if part has not been packed / shipped. Full amount will be refunded minus credit card processing fees(4%)
 
Shipping
 
We can ship to any address in the United States and Puerto Rico only. 
  • All orders will be shipped after we speak to you over the phone and confirmed that you are ordering the right part.
  • At this time we are shipping via USPS
  • Delivery date will be up to carrier.
  • Tracking number will be attached to your SilverShopTvParts account same day of purchase or will be sent out to you via e-mail when available.
  • Although we don't offer a signature-required option, this is at the discretion of the delivery driver
Package arrives damaged
If a package arrives damaged, do not open it. As per USPS, you must present damaged article, mailing container, wrapping, packaging, to a Post Office for inspection. We will provide an exchange only if package has not been opened and with a note from USPS confirming DOA. 

 

Package is lost
Please check all doors and around your property. If you still can't find the package 24 hours after the delivery confirmation, please contact us. We will initiate a "Lost Package Claim" with the carrier.
If you need a replacement order shipped immediately (claims take up to 10 business days), we will charge you for that replacement order and -- if the carrier did lose original order -- we will refund you in full for the original order. Otherwise, once the claim is resolved and if the carrier lost the package, we will send you a replacement order at no cost (if available) or refund you in full.
If the carrier's investigation leads to a delivery confirmation, please report the stolen property to your local police department.
